Prime C&I is a Notified Body recognized by the UAE Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology. This enables Prime C&I to assess regulated products for conformity under the Emirates Conformity Assessment Scheme (ECAS) and Emirates Quality Mark (EQM). Prime C&I is also duly approved as an Integrated Management System and Halal certification body

Services

Energy Drinks

This certification ensures that energy drinks or non-alcoholic caffeinated beverages are in compliance to the requirements of Ministry of industry and Advanced Technology in the UAE and International Measurement System (IMS).

Honey

The UAE government’s Ministry of industry and Advanced Technology has put in place relevant regulations and standards to ensure the quality of honey products being sold in the country.

Juices

Fruit juices and nectars, juices with milk, flavored artificial drink, artificial fruit juice powder, fruit drink, and unpasteurized fresh fruit juices are considered regulated products and, thus, would need to undergo product certification.

Milk & Dairy

The following types of milk and dairy products are required to obtain product certification: flavored yogurt, flavored milk, yogurt, laban, flavored laban, pasteurized camel milk, goat milk, and laban drink.

Drinking Water

The drinking water segment is expected to continually grow, regulations and standards are in place to ensure quality of drinking water. The UAE resolution No. 26 (2013) is details the requirements when recording and trading drinking water used for human consumption.

Cosmetics & Personal Care

Consumers in the UAE are among world’s leading spenders on cosmetics and personal care products. The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology's regulations and standards ensure the quality of cosmetics and personal care products being sold in the country.

Detergents

To ensure high quality of detergents, manufacturers are required to comply with the standards/schemes set forth by the UAE federal authority.

Food Contact Materials

These regulated products should conform to a set of standards implemented by the UAE government in order to ensure that potential harmful substances will not be transferred from the materials to the food, or any potential transfer will not raise safety issues.

Halal Products

All food products, that are being consumed in the UAE, containing meat and meat derivatives are required to have Halal certification. All other products promoted, labelled and marketed as Halal should undergo Halal certification to support their claim.

Perfumes

The following types of perfumes are required to have certification in the UAE: eau de parfum (EDP), eau de toilette (EDT), cologne, splashes, after shave, fragrances, concentrated oils, concentrated perfumes and mixtures.

Tobacco & Tobacco Products

As a regulated product in the UAE, tobacco and tobacco products need to comply with relevant regulations and standards set by the federal entity Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology.
