Note-01 :
Major Non-conformities which may lead to the suspension of the certificate include;
a. Certified customer found to violate the certification logo usage.
b. Certified customer has not settled the payment as per the agreed terms & conditions.
c. The customer has found to cease the supply of the products/service of the certified management system for extended time.
d. Client requests to withdraw a certificate for whatsoever reason.
e. Client fails to follow the contractual obligations including but not limited to allowing to conduct routine surveillance audits.
f. Client is not ready to implement the new version of the standards.
Note-02 :
Surveillance audits are conducted at least once in a year or as per the agreed frequency whichever is smaller.
Note-03 :
The certificate validity of Management System Certification, Halal Product Certification and Emirates Quality Mark (EQM) Certification is three (3) years, although the validity of certificate for Emirates Conformity Assessment scheme (ECAS) certification is one (1) year.
Note-04 :
Normally, audits for scope extension are carried out along with the surveillance visits, but in case where customer requests for an early audit; the activities from stage-02 will be carried out and if satisfactory shall issue the re-certificate with expanded scope. In such cases, the certificate issue date will be changed whereas the re-certification/validity/expiry date will remain the same as that of the original certificate.
Note-05 :
Suspension may apply for the entire scope of certification or may be part of the certified scope depending on the nature of the identified Non-Conformity. If the suspension is for part of the scope which lead to the withdrawal of the particular scope; amended certificate will be issued with revised / reduced scope. The certificate issue date will be revised to the new date whereas re-certification/ validity/ expiry date will remain the same as that of the original certificate.
Note-06 :
For Halal certification, in case of Halal product/service categories A, B, G, H, I, J and K, it is not necessary that stage 1 audit to be conducted onsite. However, it is the discretion of the audit team to decide to carry out an on-site audit. In categories C, D, E, F, L, M and N it is obligatory that stage 1 audit should be conducted onsite.
Note-07:
For product certification, During the stage 1 audit the product sample will be collected from customer end or the sample should be packed, marked and sealed by the presence of Prime C&I auditor and transferred / transported to Prime C&I agreed laboratory. The applicant shall bear all costs of the laboratory testing.
